Important Visitor Notice
To our visitors,
We welcome the government’s confirmation that public places – including museums and galleries – will be able to reopen from 4 July. We are currently working hard behind the scenes to make this happen in a safe and responsible way for our visitors, staff and volunteers.
While we will not be opening our museum, gallery and archive sites on 4 July itself, we are looking to open our venues in phases, with initial sites opening at the earliest opportunity in July. Please check our website and social media for the latest updates.
We are delighted that Lincoln Castle has re-opened its grounds and Medieval Wall Walk for visitors to enjoy. Please visit their website for more information on the new social distancing measures that have been put in place www.lincolncastle.com
Sites that remain fully closed are:
• Museum of Lincolnshire Life
• The Collection
• The Usher Gallery
• Gainsborough Old Hall
• Lincolnshire Archives
• The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre
While wider museums and galleries remain closed, we're still working hard to engage with you online. We hope you have enjoyed the updates and digital content that we have been providing over the past few months. Please do continue to follow our social media platforms to keep up to date with any further changes or announcements.
Many thanks for your continued support, we can't wait to welcome you back!
