We continue to follow the guidance issued by central government to inform our reopening plans.

Lincoln Castle's grounds only, will reopen to the public from Saturday 23rd May. Please visit their website for more information on the new social distancing measures that have been put in place. These are to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and volunteers.

The sites that remain fully closed are:

• Museum of Lincolnshire Life
• The Collection
• The Usher Gallery
• Gainsborough Old Hall
• Lincolnshire Archives
• The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre

Parking

When coming into Lincoln, follow directions for the Cultural Quarter.  The nearest car parks to the museum are on Danes Terrace, Flaxengate and Broadgate.
