Due to government guidance The Collection Museum is temporarily closed. We can also confirm The Usher Gallery will continue to remain closed. The grounds of our sister site Lincoln Castle remain open to local visitors for exercise, seven days a week, from 10am - 4 pm.
You can visit the castle grounds with people you live with, your support bubble (or as part of a childcare bubble), or with one other person.
Help us to keep everyone safe by providing your details for test and trace, only visiting us locally for exercise once per day, and utilising our one-way systems and maximum capacity measures when in place.
In the meantime, don't forget to sign up to our newsletter to keep up to date on all of our announcements. Follow our social media platforms to keep up to date with any further changes or announcements.

From Saturday 8th August 2020 it will be mandatory to wear face coverings when visiting the museum. This means you will be required to wear a face mask or covering when visiting us. We kindly ask all visitors to bring their own covering, however, if you forget, we can provide you with a disposable mask on arrival.
In order to visit the museum you will need to pre-book a timed ticket.
To ensure the safety of our visitors and staff we have put in place a number of new social distancing measures.
This includes:
-Limiting our visitor numbers
-Taking card payments only
-A one way system- entry is through our main entrance and the exit will be the education corridor. Don't worry staff will be on hand to show you this!
-Sanitising stations
-Enhanced cleaning measures
-Removal of interactives and touch points (please note our play area is closed)
Staff members will be on hand to answer any queries you have on the day of your visit. We are asking our visitors to respect these measures to protect others and staff and to ensure enjoyment for everyone.

Get directions…Parking
When coming into Lincoln, follow directions for the Cultural Quarter. The nearest car parks to the museum are on Danes Terrace, Flaxengate and Broadgate.
